"REMASTERED RERUNS" COMMENTARY WITH JOHN A AND ORIGINAL BOBBINS ARTIST, CLEM CHANCER |
John A: Hello everybody, welcome to the commentary for the Bobbins reruns.
Clem Chancer: Ahoy hoy.
JA: So what do you remember about this comic, Clem?
CC: I was in the midst of a strong morphine addiction at the time this was published, but I remember it cutting through my euphoric daze like a sharp, shiny knife.
JA: You enjoyed it?
CC: Well, the curve of Illeanna's bosom under her blouse was mildly stirring, but I remember feeling a pity for Tim and his "radio-controlled" car. A fun feeling, watching your motorified char-a-banc speeding through the streets of your home town. GO, MY TINY WHEELED FRIEND, GO!
JA: A few readers spotted that the last panel was a reference to Fritz Lang's 'Metropolis'.
CC: Was it?
JA: No. |
